
Candied Cinnilla Yams

- Ingredients
- 4-5 Sweet Potatoes 6 tbsp Salted Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2/3 cup White Sugar
- 4 tbsp Dash of Dacy Cinnilla Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/8 tsp ground Clove
- 1 tsp Vanilla Bean paste *optional*
- Directions
- Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch rounds. Set aside.
- Over medium heat, add water.
- Evenly place one layer of your sweet potato.
- Next, add both sugars + Cinnilla. Continue the pattern until you’ve layered all of your sweet potatoes ( 3 layers at most)
- On the top layer, add butter and a dash of ground clove + Cinnilla Sugar.
- Reduce heat to med-low. Place lid on top but slightly cracked. Cook for 15 mins.
- Gently stir in vanilla bean paste.
- Spoon sugary goodness on top of yams, continue to simmer for an additional 20 minutes or until the softness you desire.
